Jotun scores gold in sustainability

In the annual assessment of more than 175,000 companies, Jotun has once again scored gold in sustainability. With a score of 82 points Jotun is placed in the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis, the leading rating platform for sustainability performance.

“By including new requirements and challenges, EcoVadis has raised the bar and made it more difficult to achieve a good score. To not only hold on to a gold medal - but even improve our score from 79 to 82 points - is an achievement Jotun can be very proud of”, says Agnethe Eyde, Senior Sustainability Manager in Group Purchasing. 

The sustainability team in Group Purchasing coordinates this effort each year on behalf of the entire Jotun Group. However, this fantastic score is only made possible by the hard work and input from different functions across Jotun, making up four teams: environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
