Jotatemp 540 Zinc

Jotatemp 540 Zinc is a two-component, glass-flake reinforced inorganic zinc ethyl silicate coating that provides excellent corrosion protection on areas that operate at continuous temperatures between 120 °C and 540 °C. Combining barrier effect and galvanic protection, Jotatemp 540 Zinc is the only zinc silicate on the market that has been specifically designed for use on high-temperature areas up to 540 °C. Flexibilising agents have been added to the formulation to greatly reduce the risk of mud cracking during application. In addition, moisture-absorbing additives have been incorporated into the formulation, improving curing at low temperatures and low relative humidity. This also extends the shelf life to 12 months, greatly reducing the risk of expired material.
