Hardtop Flexi is a highly flexible and impact resistant polyurethane topcoat with direct-to-metal properties. Based in a hybrid specialty binder, Hardtop Flexi has excellent flexibility enabling it to withstand torsional stress and mechanical impact. It can be used as a one-coat, direct-to-metal coating in atmospheric corrosivity classes C2 and C3 according to ISO 12944-2007 since it contains anticorrosive pigments. Hardtop Flexi has good sag resistance, high volume solids and good flow properties, making it easy to get a high film build – contributing to improved corrosion protection compared to conventional polyurethanes. Can be used for both marine and protective usage areas on both coated surfaces and carbon steel.

When used as part of an approved scheme, this material has the following certification:
- Low Flame Spread in accordance with EU Directive for Marine Equipment. Approved in accordance with parts 5 and 2 of Annex 1 of IMO 2010 FTP Code, or Parts 5 and 2 of Annex 1 of IMO FTPC when in compliance with IMO 2010 FTP Code Ch. 8.
