Barrier 77

Barrier 77 is a 77% zinc dust epoxy primer for corrosive environments. Barrier 77’s high level of zinc dust provides excellent corrosion protection when used as part of a complete coating system where extended durability is required. It is ideal as a primer in atmospheric environments, and can be used on carbon steel, for repair of inorganic zinc silicate coatings and on damaged galvanised steel substrates. Barrier 77 complies with ASTM D520 type II zinc dust. It is recommended for offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings and on structural steel and piping exposed in corrosivity categories up to C5 (ISO 12944-2).
