About Seamate NB

SeaMate NB improves operational efficiency at the yard, offering fouling protection at an optimised price.​​SeaMate NB offers the advantage of increased productivity by reducing the paint’s consumption and application time, lowering VOC emissions. It combines these benefits with excellent outfitting properties, providing reliable, long-lasting protection. It can contribute to reduction of fuel consumption and carbon emissions by up to 7.2%. It is only recommended for underwater hull applications on newbuildings for up to 90-month specifications. ​​SeaMate NB is based on a patented, one-component hydrolysing silyl acrylate binder system, which provides both excellent fouling protection and good hull performance with exposure to both sea and fresh water during outfitting. ​​The trusted silyl formulation in SeaMate NB, combined with an optimal, triple biocide package, delivers reliable long-term fouling protection and energy efficiency of the hull with a consistent 30 idle day ability. ​​SeaMate has been the trusted brand in the silyl range of antifouling coatings and has been a choice for over 9,000 applications over the last decade.​
