Balloxy HB Light

Balloxy HB Light is an epoxy mastic coating specially designed for maintenance and repair of water ballast tanks. It is surface-tolerant and the high solids make it especially well-suited for areas where optimal surface preparation is not possible or desired.

Balloxy HB Light provides long-lasting protection in environments with high corrosivity, and can be used as primer, midcoat or finish coat in atmospheric environments. It can be used on properly prepared carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum and a range of aged coatings. Balloxy HB Light can be applied at sub-zero temperatures. Balloxy HB Light is IMO PSPC for WBT, approved for use on newbuildings as well as repair situations for medium and long-term protection. Balloxy HB Light is compatible with ballast water treatment systems.
