Worried that bold colours in your bedroom will keep you awake? Don’t be! Embrace the urge to fill your most restorative room with fresh, crisp, and soothing colours.

Blues, greens, and beiges are universally known to promote rest and well-being. However, a colour doesn’t have to be particularly calm in order for it to evoke a sense of tranquility.

Biri, a golden green from Jotun’s 2027 colour chart Journeys, gives a natural, fresh, and soft feeling of being surrounded by nature. Biri is almost like a neutral, an easy, and versatile hue that complements various other colours, such as different shades of yellows, orange, rustic red, pink and purple.

You can very well add a layer of personality to a room painted with neutral colours like Beige Sheen and Century White. A ceiling painted with uplifting and delicate hues like North or Sama invites you to drift off to asleep under the imaginative northern sky. The crisp contrast allows personal expression, creating a calm and restorative atmosphere.

Deeper on the blue spectrum, you’ll find the beautiful Midnight Blue, a deep navy blue that evokes a cocooning feeling, making you want to curl up and drift off to a restful sleep.
