Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design widely used green building rating system in the world available for building, community and home project types create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings. This is part of Jotun GreenSteps initiative to promote sustainable enviroment for employees and customers.
Jotun Vietnam Greenfield is recognized by U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) that the project has met all requirements of international environmental design standards and in accordance with standards of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System. In this case study, other highlighted features that make the project become a LEED-Gold certification building are also introduced in details.
Provide an educational program on the environmental and human health benefits of green building practices and how building occupants or the public can help improve green performance within the LEED space as guided tours with a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) - principal participant of the project.
There have been many conscious efforts toward "Go Green" for this project and sets the target of being a part of sustainability through LEED certification.
Signage often indicates guidance to building occupants regarding green building activities and practices in LEED spaces (such as recycling and proper use of efficient equipment and fixtures, parking priority, smoking area...).
