These fusion-bonded epoxy coatings can be used as stand-alone, single-layer coatings or as a component of multi-layer (dual-layer or tri-layer) systems. Jotapipe AC 1003 XT offers coating flexibility even after natural aging as tested in the laboratory and in the field. This exceeds industry standards and the standards of global oil and gas companies. It is a fusion-bonded epoxy designed for stand-alone applications and can be used as a primer in dual-layer FBE and multi-layer polyolefin systems. It can also be used as a girth weld coating for pipelines operating at continuous temperatures up to 105°C (221°F).
