Roelof started painting from the age of 12, with an introduction to commercial painting through his family’s paint application company, applying paint to commercial vessels, the decorative market and leisure yachts.
After military service, Roelof’s career took him from paint application into sales, working in the B2B market for a distributor selling Jotun products to professional paint applicators solutions in flooring, fireproofing, spray pumps & guns, scaffolding and leisure yacht coatings.
Roelof joined Jotun in 2011, and starting from scratch, immediately began progressing the Dutch Megayacht market with a more technical approach to development. This progression has now taken him to a new level, developing solutions for the Megayacht market the world over.
