King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is a new university campus along the coast of the Red Sea, housing some of the world’s most advanced collection of laboratories, equipment, and instrumentation across the entire spectrum of science. The building has LEED Platinum certification, and it is the first LEED-certified project in Saudi Arabia.
The interior walls of the buildings were painted with Fenomastic Pure Colours to give it a subtle level of character and an attractive finish.
The external window panes were coated with Jotun Super Durable. With a wide variety of finishes, colours, and special collections, Jotun Super Durable allows you to realize your boldest ideas. It is specially formulated to endure the test of time, and is designed to withstand harsh levels of UV, inconsistent humidity, and a variation of temperature and weather conditions.
The floors of the building were coated with Jotafloor Topcoat. It is resistant to chemical, abrasion, and impact, while providing excellent gloss and colour retention.
