How we hire

Our hiring process ensures that applicants are treated fairly, objectively and with respect.

1: Application

2: Review

The recruiter and the line manager will evaluate your application to see how well it matches the requirements of the role. We prioritise candidates based on formal competence, relevant work life experience and any other objectively measurable criteria’s relevant for the position.

3: Interviews

The recruiter or coordinator will contact you if you are selected for an interview with the hiring manager/hiring team. This interview is a way to get to know you better and take us one step closer to finding the most suitable person. We run structured competency-based interview to ensure focus is placed on job-relevant areas and to be able to objectively compare candidates. Take also the opportunity to ask us questions you might have during the interview(s).

4: Decision and offer

Jotun's recruiters do their best to find the most suitable person for the role. Our goal is to make sure all candidates are evaluated against the same skills and competencies for a given position. Remember that a rejection does not mean that you are unsuitable – it just means that at this time, someone else was evaluated as even more suitable for the role.
