Baltoflake Ecolife is a styrene-free, high-build polyester coating with exceptional lifetime. Baltoflake Ecolife is a glass-flake-reinforced coating that cures very fast – you can walk on it three hours after application – making it perfect for areas like tidal zones where curing time is crucial. Baltoflake can be applied with up to 1500 microns in a single coat on a vertical steel surface without sagging. The tough nature of Baltoflake Ecolife gives immense strength and protection against water, chemicals, solvents, abrasion and mechanical abrasion – and it outperforms traditional protection like metallising and epoxy coatings. Baltoflake Ecolife is pre-qualified in several NORSOK coatings systems.
Pre-qualification testing in accordance with NORSOK M-501, Rev. 3/4, System 7, suitable for splash zone.
