An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a standardized and independently verified document that communicates transparent and comparable environmental impacts throughout the lifecycle.
By documenting and sharing transparent data on products and systems with the most comprehensive product-specific Type III EPDs in the markets, Jotun can support your sustainability goals while also reducing downstream impacts.
Standards compliance
LCA (life cycle analysis) is assessed based on ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 which are internationally adopted. EPD follows the globally used standard EN 15804:2012 + A2:2019 verified by 3rd party.
Green documentation
In order to achieve the sustainability goals by reducing carbon emissions, it is necessary to provide green documentations like EPD to report transparent environmental impacts on especially GPW (Global Warming Potential).
