Primers & Undercoats - Yachting

Prevent degradation of fibreglass, aluminium, steel and wood
Jotun Yachting Primers can be used on any part of the boat. Which to use depends on the type of structure and your requirements to hardness, waterproofing, corrosion protection, application properties, volume solids and film thickness. Your choice will have an effect on the paint system's durability in the long term.

AntiPest
Two-pack epoxy suitable as a long exposure undercoat for epoxy and polyurethane systems and designed to prevent osmosis in fibreglass boats. Can be used as primer on all types of substrates including steel, fibreglass, aluminium and marine timber as well as intermediate adhesion undercoat for polyurethane or antifouling on top of epoxy primers. Ideal for priming gelcoat before applying antifouling.

Epoxy Yacht HB
Two-pack epoxy mastic primer with excellent waterproofing properties, ideal against corrosion on steel and osmosis on fibreglass hulls.
